This journey is curated by Lila, who lives in Costa Rica and is passionate about inviting emerging and established leaders into meaningful impact experiences. Designed for next-gens and now-gens committed to making a difference, this trip offers a unique opportunity to explore how conscious capital and systemic investing can shape a more regenerative future.

Throughout the experience, participants will learn from visionary experts and on-the-ground changemakers who are advancing regenerative models across Costa Rica. The journey includes visits to conservation initiatives, community-led projects, regenerative developments, and education programs — offering insight into real-world solutions and curated opportunities for values-aligned investment and philanthropy. This is a chance to witness firsthand how thoughtful stewardship, innovation, and collaborative action can catalyse long-term positive change.

The price estimate displayed is per person, based on a group of 12 travelers staying in four double rooms and four single rooms. Accommodation in a double room, activities, transportation and meals (as specified in the itinerary) are included for two facilitators. Please let us know of any adjustments or changes to the destinations and activities. We are here to help you plan your ideal trip! All hotels and services are subject to availability when booking.

ITINERARY

April 17

Welcome to Costa Rica

Upon arrival in San José, our driver will greet each participant at the airport and provide a transfer to a centrally located hotel (airport transfer is available for all participants, regardless of arrival time). The afternoon is yours to unwind and settle in. You may choose to relax on the pool, explore the city, stroll through the parks, visit museums, join a food tour, or wander the bustling central market.

Later in the afternoon, we will host a Welcome Reception and Dinner.

The participants will receive an introduction to the socio-economic challenges and opportunities of the country from our hosts, Hans & Lila, as well as from Jhon Fonseca (former Vice-Minister of Foreign Commerce) and Dr. Arturo Condo (President of Earth University).

We will also explore why it is crucial to engage the private sector in protecting the beauty, biodiversity, and cultural heritage of this rapidly growing country, which is increasingly threatened by gentrification.

April 18

Immersive Farm and Coffee Experience

Start your day with a rejuvenating early morning yoga session, followed by a nourishing breakfast. Afterward, our driver will pick you up in a comfortable 18-seat van for a private transfer to Costa Rica’s renowned coffee-growing region, a scenic two-hour drive away. Here, you will visit a certified regenerative coffee plantation, known for its commitment to environmental education and sustainable farming practices. After an insightful tour, indulge in a coffee tasting experience, savoring the rich flavors of locally grown beans.

In the afternoon, we'll journey to Lila's avocado and passion fruit farm, nestled in the mountains at 2,000 meters. This rustic, off-the-beaten-path farm offers an authentic opportunity to reconnect with nature, far from the distractions of modern life. Spend the evening enjoying a farm-to-table dining experience, with fresh ingredients sourced from the land, followed by a cozy bonfire under the stars.

Sunrise Hike, Local Flavors, and Pacific Coast Connection

Begin your day with a peaceful morning meditation followed by a refreshing sunrise hike to take in the breathtaking views of the mountains. After breakfast and morning activities on the farm, we’ll head to Al Mercat to savor authentic local traditional meals, a true taste of Costa Rican culinary heritage.

Following a scenic 2.5-hour transfer to the Pacific coast town of Uvita, you’ll be welcomed with a sunset reception, where you’ll have the chance to connect with inspiring local impact makers who are leading positive change in the region.

April 20

Whale Watching and Ocean Conservation

After a realigning morning yoga session and breakfast, we’ll head to Marino Ballena National Park for a dolphin and whale-watching tour, just 30 minutes from the hotel. Humpback whales are often spotted during two key seasons: December to March and July to October. This half-day tour will take us through the highlights of the park, including Isla BallenaLas Rocas Tres HermanasCavernas Ventanas, and the Tómbolo of Punta Uvita.

After the tour, we’ll enjoy lunch at a local farm, followed by some relaxation time at the beach in the afternoon. In the evening, we will gather for a delightful dinner at Escala.

Optional Activity:

- Replace the whale-watching excursion with a snorkeling or scuba diving tour to Caño Island.

April 21

Nauyaca Waterfall and Regenerative Land Stewardship

After breakfast, we’ll take a 40-minute transfer to the stunning Nauyaca Waterfalls, one of the most famous attractions in Costa Rica’s southern region, known for their breathtaking natural beauty. Upon arrival, we’ll take a 30-minute hike to the falls, where you’ll have free time to swim or simply relax and take in the serene surroundings.

Afterward, we’ll head to the Holos Retreat Center for lunch, followed by an afternoon activity focused on projects related to land stewardshiptrusts, and Indigenous peoples.

In the evening, we’ll cap off the day with a final celebration, featuring local DJs and a sound healing session.

Optional Extension: Boruca Indigenous Community

After breakfast, we’ll gather for a closing circle, reflecting on our journey and experiences together. Following the farewell to those departing, there is an optional extension available for participants who wish to continue their adventure.

Optional Extension:

Extend your stay with a visit to the Boruca Indigenous Community for an immersive cultural experience. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the ancestral Boruca people, who inhabited Costa Rica long before the arrival of the Conquistadors and the United Fruit Company. This unique experience includes gaining insights into their indigenous wisdom and traditional practices, culminating in a Cacao ceremony that honors their rich cultural heritage.

This day offers a meaningful conclusion or an enriching continuation to your journey. Depending on sign-ups and requests of our participants we will stay locally in the community or at a hotel.
